Move and new installation of Recipharms new narrow aisle warehouse

Recipharm is a Swedish pharmaceutical company active within contract development and manufacturing. The company has chosen EAB to supply warehouse storage solutions for one of its warehouses in Sweden. Recipharm has entrusted EAB to help with moving and new installation of its new narrow aisle warehouse.

Some 3,000 pallet spaces were dismantled and reused in the new facility, which when ready, will hold just over 5,200 pallet spaces. The warehouse primarily manages full pallets inbound and outbound. Therefore, the company has chosen to use sling operated narrow aisle forklifts, so they can use the floor area as effectively as possible.

In the slightly higher part of the warehouse (10 metres high) almost 2 pallet spaces per square metre are stored.
