An Investment Opening the Door to the Future of Farming
Just outside Laholm, Vita Klippan Lantbruks AB has taken a decisive step towards the future of farming. When the decision was made to build a new dairy facility, the objective was clear: to future-proof production and create a working environment that is sustainable for the long term.
The newly built dairy barn became operational this spring, with the herd moving into a modern facility designed to improve animal welfare, increase efficiency and support future growth. Covering approximately 3,150 square metres, the building accommodates four robotic milking systems as well as staff facilities. The barn was constructed by PEAB, while EAB supplied all of the doors as part of a complete turnkey delivery, from design and planning through to final installation.
“Following the transition from a traditional milking parlour to robotic milking, our aim is to increase production gradually. We plan to grow from 150 to around 220 milking cows, primarily by raising our own replacement heifers,” says Joakim Lund, Co-owner of Vita Klippan Lantbruks AB.
Designed for Performance and the Future
For a farming business that operates around the clock, every day of the year, reliable solutions are essential. Throughout the planning of the new dairy barn, functionality, durability and long-term performance guided every decision, with the ambition of creating a facility built to stand the test of time.
EAB doors were already in use on the farm, and the positive experience of their performance—combined with the long-standing partnership between PEAB and EAB—made the choice of supplier an easy one for this new investment.

“We appreciate the robust construction and the support we receive from EAB. Having their assistance with tasks such as measuring the door openings gave us real peace of mind – it would have been a major issue if something had gone wrong with so many doors. Another great advantage is that spare parts are still available for doors installed back in the 1970s, so even that door will continue to serve us for many years to come,” says Joakim.
For the new dairy barn, EAB supplied and installed three fixed windows, seven hinged doors, ten outward-opening folding doors and ten pedestrian doors, several of which are located within the staff facilities.
The folding doors provide wide, high openings that make it easier to manoeuvre tractors and other large machinery used in the daily operation. Because they fold outwards, they do not take up valuable space inside the barn. To allow Joakim and his employees to move easily between different sections of the building and access the livestock, several of the folding doors have also been fitted with integrated pedestrian doors.
These are doors designed to withstand daily use in a demanding agricultural environment—not only today, but for generations to come.
“Our doors, with hot-dip galvanised frames and painted steel cladding, are specifically engineered for environments like these, where reliability and long service life are essential. Agriculture is an important and well-established market for us. These are businesses that take a long-term view and invest with the future in mind,” says Lars-Göran Fahlén, Sales Representative and Project Manager at EAB Doors.

Together with PEAB for 50 Years
The dairy barn was constructed by PEAB. The partnership between PEAB and EAB dates back to the early 1970s, when the first EAB doors were delivered to PEAB’s head office in Förslöv. Since then, the relationship has developed into a long-standing and successful partnership.
Celebrating 50 years of collaboration is an achievement in itself, but it also reflects a relationship built on mutual trust and a shared commitment to progress. Over the years, EAB has supplied everything from steel buildings and structural steelwork to industrial doors. The partnership is founded on a close professional relationship with a common focus on delivering durable, high-quality solutions.
“There is something special about partnerships that have lasted this long. The fact that we remain PEAB’s natural choice for industrial doors is something we are very proud of. It shows that what we do delivers value and that together we have built a relationship that stands the test of time. That’s exactly how we intend to continue,” says Lars-Göran.
A Strong Commitment Drove the Project Forward
From the initial planning stages through to final installation, the commitment shown by owners Kerstin and Joakim played a key role in the project’s success. Their active involvement created excellent conditions for developing solutions that work both technically and practically in day-to-day operations.
“Projects always run more smoothly when customers are engaged and have a clear vision of what they want to achieve. By working closely together, we delivered a solution that meets the needs of the business. We are proud to have been part of such a forward-looking investment and to have delivered a complete solution, including installation. The result is truly impressive—it’s the kind of barn any cow would be happy to live in,” Lars-Göran says with a smile.
When investments are expected to last for generations, quality, service and long-term commitment become decisive factors. Vita Klippan Lantbruks AB is an excellent example of how carefully considered choices in both construction and equipment can lay the foundations for the future of farming.
