Rosti Group builds for the future
EAB is delivering the structural framework for Rosti Group’s new, state-of-the-art production facility in Gislaved, in collaboration with Naij Bygg AB. It is a very exciting project for several reasons, not least because our local area continues to grow and develop. This is the largest production facility we have built locally for many years.
Building for the future
Along the national road 27 in Gislaved, just two kilometres from its current production facility, Rosti is now constructing a new 14,000-square-metre plant comprising production, warehouse and office space. There is also the potential to expand the facility to a total of 19,000 square metres. Rosti’s new industrial premises represent an important investment in the future. The construction includes modern and efficient spaces designed to meet the company’s growing needs.
EAB’s delivery – 750 tonnes of steel
For the project, we are delivering a building that includes a steel framework, crane runways, roof and walls, roof cladding, intermediate floors and staircases. In total, this amounts to 750 tonnes of steel, which clearly illustrates the size and scale of the project.
“This is the largest production facility we have built locally for many years,” says Simon Eliasson, Project Engineer at EAB Stålbyggnader.
Sustainability in focus
The new facility is being built with sustainability at its core. It will use energy-efficient solutions, operate on 100% renewable energy, and feature an optimised layout to ensure efficient production.
Work began immediately after the summer holidays this year and has since progressed according to plan. According to the current schedule, final inspection of the building is planned for week 35 next year.
“It is great to see companies investing locally and for us to be entrusted with the construction,” Simon concludes.
