When it was time for Mikael and Carina to build a new machinery shed, both the appearance and functionality were of the utmost importance. Now, the falu red machinery shed with the black, fully glazed folding doors complements the farm landscape – just as planned.

“The fully glazed doors are the most stylish ones you can have! There was no doubt that those were the ones we wanted to install. Since the machinery shed is built near the courtyard, we wanted it to look more like a house than a barn, and it really does,” says Mikael happily.

The machinery shed is heated, so it was important for the doors to be insulated as well. When choosing to install fully glazed doors, there is no need to compromise on insulation, as they maintain a U-value of 1.1 when selecting insulated glass.

“We actually have an old EAB door from before, and it has worked for all these years. We are familiar with EAB, and it was obvious that we would choose EAB doors again this time. It just works,” Mikael laughs.

Mikael and Carina’s two folding doors are 4.80 meters wide and 3.40 meters high, with one of them having a pedestrian door. With these, there are no problems storing either mini harvesters or excavators!
